Matthew (Matt) Hutchison, Born 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee, Mr. Hutchison has lived in Montana since 1981. He is an honors graduate from Montana State University, School of Business, Bozeman, Montana, and the University of Montana School of Law, Missoula, Montana.

Mr. Hutchison has considerable experience in Complex, Multi-party Litigation Representing Primarily Oil and Natural Gas Exploration and Development Companies, Manufacturers, Construction Companies and Landowners. This representation also includes Labor and Employment matters which arise occasionally for these clients. Mr. Hutchison has extensive experience with acquisitions and mergers in the Oil and Natural Gas Industry, and other Complex Commercial Transactions. In addition, Mr. Hutchison is active in the area of Insurance Defense and Coverage Analysis.
Mr. Hutchison is admitted to Practice in all Montana State and Federal Courts, and the Court Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has successfully argued or prosecuted appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court for the State of Montana. He is a recipient of the Judge Robert P. Goff Pro Bono Award (1999).
